We are just ending the Spleen/Stomach time of year! I’ve started to do a tiny cleanse to balance out my digestive system and make sure I’m coming into fall with strong immunity! The gut is so so so important for a properly functioning immune system. I’ve also noticed little things like feeling sluggish, bloated, and having a low appetite. These are little messages, along with other hints like nausea, constipation/diarrhea, heartburn, etc. from your belly telling you something is off!

Here are a few easy things I’ve been doing to optimize my digestive system:
〰️taking probiotics
〰️taking magnesium (400mg daily)
〰️drinking 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar (you want to find one that says “with the mother” on the label!) diluted in a glass of water (drink this with a straw... this can be hard on the enamel of your teeth. Or rinse your mouth well after!)
〰️using Chinese herbs to stay balanced
〰️& belly acupuncture!

    Love cupping!

Love cupping is like normal cupping in that it has all of the benefits of regular cupping, with a heart-shaped twist.
    • Reduce pain
    • Heal tired & achey muscles
    • Improve circulation
    • Trendy heart-shaped marks left on the body

    So, what is food therapy?

In Chinese medicine, food has been used for thousands of years as a way to heal the body. All foods have different properties, such as warming, cooling, bitter, pungent, sour, spicy, etc. You can use these properties to your advantage based on your own individual constitution and the time of year! For example, everyone should incorporate these foods into their diets this summer because they help cool the body:
    • Watermelon
    • Cucumber
